A caring presence, built over time

I support seniors at home or in care facilities, often facing cognitive impairments or age-related limitations, such as Alzheimer’s disease, post-stroke conditions, Parkinson’s disease, age-related vision problems (including age-related macular degeneration), or motor disabilities. When the transition to a care facility becomes necessary, I can continue to be there—a familiar presence, maintaining the bond we’ve built. My role is to offer a stable and reassuring presence that supports their daily lives while allowing caregivers to take a break with complete peace of mind.

Every support journey is unique. It develops over time, tailored to your loved one’s needs, pace, and personality. Through genuine connection, a vibrant and trusting relationship can be built.

Companion: Activities and Shared Moments

The heart of what I do: being there. Chatting, listening, suggesting an activity, going out, sharing a moment. Depending on your loved one’s preferences and abilities, this can take many forms :

  • Walks and outdoor outings
  • Organizing social gatherings to maintain connections with longtime friends and family
  • Culinary moments to rediscover the skills, memories, and pleasure of cooking
  • Writing a life story and creating a mini-illustrated biography or photo albums
  • Word games, games of chance, or strategy games
  • Musical awakening at the piano and rediscovering melodies from days gone by
  • Painting, drawing, and creative hobbies
  • Reading and sharing literature
  • Gentle massages (head, hands, feet)
  • Silent presence when rest or quiet reflection is what your loved one needs most

Personal care assistant: assistance with daily tasks

When I care for a senior, I’m actually serving the whole family. For family caregivers, my regular visits provide a much-needed break and the peace of mind that their loved one is in good hands. So I also lend a hand with whatever comes up when needed, or to cover for an unexpected absence: preparing a meal, accompanying them to an appointment, helping with daily tasks… that is the very essence of a reliable presence.

  • I offer occasional assistance with personal hygiene and dressing, in addition to your regular caregivers
  • I can also prepare meals, assist with eating and grocery shopping.
  • I provide basic administrative support, including writing and managing correspondence, and help with using digital tools.
  • I offer discreet and reassuring overnight companionship (passive monitoring) to alleviate loneliness and anxiety.

If you think I might be the right person for your loved one, please feel free to contact me. We can have a casual conversation, with no obligation, to see if what I offer is a good fit for your situation.
