A caring presence, built over time

I offer companionship and support to elderly people at home or in care facilities (EMS), many of whom are affected by cognitive disorders or age-related limitations such as Alzheimer’s disease, the after-effects of a stroke, Parkinson’s disease, age-related vision loss (including AMD), or physical disabilities. When a move into a facility becomes necessary, I continue to be there, which makes the transition easier. In this way, a familiar presence carries on, within the continuity of the relationship already built. My role is to offer a steady, reassuring presence that supports their daily life, while keeping family caregivers informed along the way — a relationship of trust that allows them to take time to rest, with peace of mind.

Each relationship is unique. It develops over time, shaped by your loved one’s needs, pace and personality. Within the bond of a genuine connection, a living, trusting relationship takes shape — one that becomes a source of support for both the person and those around them.

Private senior companion: Activities and Shared Moments

At the heart of what I do: being there, building a connection, offering support through the difficult transition that loss of independence represents, while maintaining ties with family. Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of those entrusted to me. But also: talking, listening, suggesting an activity, going out, sharing a moment, bringing life to the home, breaking through loneliness… Depending on your loved one’s preferences and abilities, this can take many forms :

  • Walks and outdoor outings
  • Organizing social gatherings to maintain connections with longtime friends and family
  • Culinary moments to rediscover the skills, memories, and pleasure of cooking
  • Writing a life story and creating a mini-illustrated biography or photo albums
  • Word games, games of chance, or strategy games
  • Musical awakening at the piano and rediscovering melodies from days gone by
  • Painting, drawing, and creative hobbies
  • Reading and sharing literature
  • Gentle massages (head, hands, feet)
  • A quiet presence when rest or contemplation is what your loved one needs most
  • and anything else I haven’t mentioned but that we can discuss together

In everyday life, a flexible presence

My regular presence can also, depending on the situation, extend to a few practical, everyday matters: preparing a meal, accompanying someone to an appointment, stepping in when the unexpected happens. It is the certainty that your loved one is, at every moment, in good hands.

  • Assistance with washing and dressing, alongside your usual caregivers

  • Meal preparation, help with meals and shopping, light housekeeping

  • Administrative support, handling correspondence and help with using digital tools.

  • Night presence, discreet and reassuring
